El Día de la cosecha, realizada el 11 de noviembre en el Colegio de Costa Rica, fue el momento oportuno para mostrar las habilidades y talentos de los grados 1003 y 1102 Jornada Mañana, ciclo cinco campo de Comunicación, arte y expresión
Allí los estudiantes reflejaron su constancia, responsabilidad, y dedicación en su enriquecimiento cultural a través de las expresiones básicas de una seguna lengua inglés al representar en obras teatrales la lectura de THE HAUNTED CASTLE, GLADIATOR,, THE VAMPIRE, etc. y al exponer en monologo con vestuario representativo cada uno de los animales y elementos de la naturaleza encontrados en la Granja cológica Porvenir.
Cabe resaltar que los integrantes de 1102 realizaron trajes y escenarios con materiales reciclables , murales, dibujos realizados por ellos y elementos caseros que ayudaron a representar la lectura realizada en cada texto, primero convertida en un guión teatral a través de un ANAGRAMA, y después expuesta en obra teatral en inglés, al auditorio que visitó este rincón cultural, como complemento interpretativo de la comprensión lectora en el idioma inglés.
Por otra parte, los pertenecientes a 1003 expusieron un monologo en inglés vestidos con trajes coloridos, usando cartulina, algodón, y temperas para el caso del mural del bosque; que vivificaba la experiencia de la visita a la Granja Ecológica el Porvenir al representar cada animal doméstico, cada insecto y cada elemento de la naturaleza (cow, pig, horse, rabbit, turkey, mariquita, treee, grass, orchid,etc).
En conclusión estos alumnos son merecedores de una gran FELICITACIÓN por su esfuerzo, constancia, y dedicación para mostrar sus habilidades comunicativas en una segunda lengua:Inglés. econocimeinto que merece ser reconocido con sus resultados obtenidos, especialmente para aquellos que durante el año lectivo 2011 siempre mostraron el interés por aprender las nuevas expresiones que cada dñía nos trae el idioma ingles:

he 1003 student Morning Shift wrote a letter to a girl who belong to Sherborne Girls School.
After that their teacher Alejandro Osorio with his community that build links and partnerships with overseas educational institutes and projects, placed an important help on their student's role within the global Costa Rica School community.
They send to the school some money which let to the students to have a Pedagogical Tour to ECOLOGIC FARM: EL PORVENIR in order to Exchange take place with each other of the same course.
They had free food, bus and entry because of that money which was given to the school bank account.
In adittion, these students enjoyed an extensive variety of interests outside the classroom. They listened to some explanations about the animals it english.
On the other hand, The students feed the animals, Each student put an orchid on a tree in order to save that orchid.Next they rode horse.
They removed the grass from the lettuces and got wet tthe lettuces and each other too, taking the opportunity to get wet themselves with the water..
Finally some students described in English: the rabitts, the hens, the turkey, the horses, the goats, the sheep, the ducks, the pig, the cows,the fence, etc.
In conclusion they learned some domestic animals basic vocabulary, practiced their speaking and listening skill,did a real work on the earth, rode horse and enjoyed a lot that place.

CONGRATULATIONS!

1102,1001,1002 and 1001 who are in Morning shift did the best effort to show their Musical project.
They prepared and explained each topic according to the chosen song. Besides They showed their song which was sang and danced too by these students. some of them showed a poem.

The 1104 students were visiting the different places which we can find in the Julio Santo Domingo Library., on 21st. july from ten a.m. to 1:50 p.m.They were in internet, another students were reading, and another students were looking around this library.
These students were interested in the different activities offered by this library.
The students wee doing a a reflection about what importan is a place like this.

1103 STUDENTS WERE VISITING SANTO DOMINGO LIBRARY
Well, the 1103 students were enjoying the different spaces that offers the Julio Santo Domingo Library. WHen? on 15th july from ten a.m. to 2:15 p.m.They enjoyed being in internet, another students were reading, and another students were watching a film after the guide explained us about the different enviroments that we could find there.
The students left the library when they knew this interesting place so they are going to do a reflection about what importan is a place like this.
